Revolutionary Vol. 1is definitely the debut record by rapper Immortal Method, released on Sept 18, 2001, and re-pressed in 2004 (by Babygrande Records). The 1st edition acquired no submission and no pub code; it had been offered by the performer on the roads and at his shows. The recording re-press was produced with a pub code and is usually being dispersed world-wide by Viper Records and Babygrande Records. Immortal Method said in 2009 that the record had sold even more than 45,000 copies.1

Stewart Mason of AllMusic offered the lp a rating of three-ánd-a-half superstars out of five. He praised Immortal Technique for being able to fit complicated political themes convincingly to songs. Mason wrote that audience may not really say yes to of the production quality, but mentioned that it had a 'rough-edged appeal' tó it.2
Creating on RapReviews in Nov 2005, Steve 'Display' Juon reacted positively to the cd, phoning Immortal Technique 'a smooth flowing, tough hewn singer with an superb sense of timing and breath control' and judging the production as 'great to excellent'.3
